Self-assessments are typically included at the end of a logical piece of content to test knowledge retentionAssessments are presented to learners in the form of an educational game, a scenario or a number of questions that learners are required to complete before proceeding.
At the end of the self-assessment, the learner is provided with feedback and recommendations based on the mark achieved.
Summative assessments are typically included at the end of the course to verify knowledge and/or understanding of the content.
